- 1 / 5By A Google UserEvery year I order an ice cream cake at Carvel's for my wife's birthday. This year I ordered one at the store in East Brunswick, NJ. The moment I saw the cake I knew there was something wrong. I told the owner the cake looks so flat that it couldn't be the one I ordered. The owner was arguing with me that he uses the standard mold and it couldn't be anything else. I brought home the cake and everyone thought that the cake was flat and looked funny. I took pictures of the cake with a ruler. I'd say the cake was 1/3 shorter in height than the ones I used to get. Also the owner told me the weight information on the box (88 oz) does not mean anything. Go figure!July 17, 2016
